I was actually planning to paint the reflection of the world in his eyes, but I was afraid it would make the expression in his eyes less strong. I don't know yet what I'll do with it.

I'll upload the finished version soon.

Very Nice, I love how loosely you clung to the contour lines of his face which of course always leads to a more broken and patterned look. Also his eye, in my opinion, is very well done and added excess detail to it would detract from the rest of the image.

I think the only thing that really bugs me is the nose... I'm not sure what it is about it though.

Did you do this with charcoals?

I do like this version a bit more than the last, I feel as though you really got the nose as close to perfect as you could.

The only other thing that I see is that the eyes appear to be looking in different directions (don't look into it, it's probably just me.)

No, I actually painted it with oil paint. You're right about the nose, I should use a bit more shadow there, it's too white and I should make it a little smaller on the right. I'll try to work on it.
